Subscription Cancellation Policy

At AirGuard, most users now enjoy free access to our mobile and web app services. However, some customers may still have an active paid subscription depending on the original purchase terms of their AirGuard device. This policy explains how cancellation works for both free-access users and customers with a legacy paid subscription.
1. Who May Still Be Charged
AirGuard no longer charges a monthly subscription for newly activated devices.
- However, customers who originally purchased their device at a discounted upfront price may still be billed monthly under their original plan. These subscriptions remain active until canceled by the customer.
- Your billing plan is determined by the purchase terms accepted at the time of checkout. Changes to AirGuard’s pricing model do not automatically alter your original plan or cancel your existing subscription.
- If you're unsure which plan you’re on, email us at support@airguard.pro and we will confirm your billing status.
2. How to Cancel
To cancel your AirGuard subscription (for users who still have an active paid plan):
- Email support@airguard.pro with the subject line: “Subscription Cancellation Request”
- Include: Your name, the email address linked to your AirGuard account, reason for cancellation (optional)
- We will confirm your cancellation within 1–2 business days.
- Cancellations must be requested via email so we have a documented, timestamped record for your protection and ours.
3. Billing Terms for Legacy Paid Subscriptions
These terms apply only to customers who are still on a paid subscription plan.
- Monthly Billing: Legacy subscriptions are billed at the rate listed in your original purchase terms (commonly $14.99/mo).
- No Refunds: Once billed for the current month, no refunds or partial credits will be issued.
- Final Month Access: After canceling, you retain full access until the end of the current billing cycle, and billing will stop after that.
- By maintaining an active subscription, you authorize recurring monthly charges until a cancellation request is submitted. Failure to use the device or app does not constitute cancellation.
- Billing continues until we receive your cancellation request and confirm it. We cannot reverse charges that occurred prior to receiving your request.
Example:
If you're billed on the 10th and cancel on the 15th, your access continues until the next 10th.
4. Important Notes
- Cancellations must be submitted before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month.
- If you subscribed through a third-party platform (Apple App Store or Google Play), cancellation must be completed through that platform.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is fully processed.
- Users on the new free-access model do not need to cancel anything—no charges will occur.
AirGuard is not able to process cancellations or refunds for subscriptions managed by third-party marketplaces. All disputes for those subscriptions must be handled through the platform where the subscription was originally created.
Attempting to dispute a valid charge through your financial institution may delay resolution. We encourage customers to contact us first so we can review billing history and provide documentation as needed.
